Held Games At Which Olympic Games Were The Games Held On Two Separate Continents That Year?

occurred in 1956 Olympic Games. all events, rather than equestrian event in Melbourne, Australia. The equestrian event was held in Stockholm, Sweden because of quarantine regulations in Australia.
Im not positive, but had the Olympics in Istanbul, Turkey. The city is considered a means in Europe and half in Asia, for what could be done, both in Europe and Asia. This is a multi-continent Olympic Games would have, but I do not know when, if ever, the Olympics were in Istanbul.
